YAY! Steampunk Art Trading Card Swap Cards are in.

ATC (Artist Trading Card) Swap
April Theme Steampunk Art
Steampunk Writer and Steampunk Traveler

Steampunk Traveler was done by Sonya Nelson.  It looks like she had fun with this.  I think she is a warrior herself to have been able to put all those little pieces of metal on this little card.  They are
3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches (the size of a baseball card).  Awesome job Sonya.

I did the Steampunk Writer.  This was way out of my box, but most of you that know me can definately tell that I did it.  Making this card was such a challenge, but very rewarding.  My thoughts on this was that you can look through her eye to see what is in her heart and mind.  Her heart is full of love and compassion, but her mind is thinking of the typewriter that could possible make the task of writing a little faster.

In todays world we get so caught up in conveniences.  Take the time to write to a dear friend.  The fact that you have taken the time to write it rather than computerize it really means alot.

Thanks for stopping by, come by again soon.
God Bless You All

Your Gorgeous

When in doubt about that, ask our creator,  He is amazing and makes no mistakes.  Are you doing your best with the canvas he gave you?  Feeling in a funk and having trouble getting out of it.  Put on a red and purple hat (over 50), if that is too bold for you try the pink and lavender (under 50).  Be really bold and throw in a feather or two.  Even if you do this at home by yourself, it will make you smile.  God loves that in us.  It is Satan who brings you down, don't allow him to do that to you.  Life is too short to not have fun.  So are you feeling a little daring?

Poem by:  Jenny Joseph

Warning

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat that doesn't go and doesn't suit me
And, I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops, and press alarm bells
And run my stick along public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens....

But maybe I ought to practice a little now
So people who know me are not too shocked or surprised
When suddenly I'm old and start to wear purple.

Enjoy, your day and be a little daring.  God bless all of you and thanks for stopping by.  Take time to say, what you are up to today.  I would love to hear from you.
